The aluminum 12 has smooth but well-defined lo. I highly recomend it for you and your friends.

I bought this to cut down on what I had to carry around to back up a vocal duet. The number one feature is the sound, A close second is the portability. It's very nicely balanced at the handle - so much that it seems to weigh even less than it does.

Other features include 3-band EQ plus an adjustable-frequency shape control and a headphone jack. Excellent for its size.
