What might appear to be a low, low price on an nForce board compared to what you can get retail will have to be sold at a significantly higher price, unless Ford is going to sell them at-cost which I tend to doubt. You're probably right on about Intel wanting to get deeper in your pockets. BUT, the prices listed above are retail prices, a system integrator will pocket newegg. Answered on May 06, Not real big on the quality of the audio at my age, so I'll go with the on-board product.

Are you an Intel Computer and Internet Expert? The internal USB port will allow for a modified home made adapter in order to use the the USB ports that are provided on the front end of the case. I'm an AMD fan myself, sounv this is just a low end system so performance is not too important.
