As a teenager, I took great delight in holding the joystick sideways in awkward places, getting someone to hold it and guffawing as it's "return to center" kicked in feedbzck nobody could ever work out how the joystick "knew" that it was being held, which made it all the more fun.

Force feedback continued to work, but it didn't have the strength and gamepaf of earlier Windows iterations. I searched the web.
